FC Barcelona face Olympiacos on Tuesday at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Match Day 3 of the league phase of this season's Champions League. The game comes at a crucial time according to Barça boss Hansi Flick who appeared before the press on Monday ahead of the European fixture. "We’re at a difficult moment, with a lot of injured players and others who have returned but are still not at 100%. Nevertheless, our goal is always the same: to fight until the end, give everything, win, and take all three points," said the German.

To do so, the German coach is clear that there are things to improve, but he also expressed confidence in his team: "Right now it’s a complicated situation, and that’s why the three points against Girona were so important. But the team is doing well, in great spirits, and I like the atmosphere. We have a young team and we needed that. We’ve analysed the match and we know we need to position ourselves better, run more, and press better."

According to Flick, Olympiacos "are good going forward and we’ll need to pay attention to their attackers: they have a clear game plan and it will be very difficult."

Elsewhere, after a few days of controversy surrounding his red card against Girona, Flick didn’t hesitate to show his affection for the Club: "I’m not nervous. It’s true that I show my emotions more than before, but this Club has completely changed me. Maybe I should control my impulses, but I love Barça, Barcelona, and its people, and that’s why I always give my all."

Finally, when asked about the injured, Flick explained: "We hope Ferran and Raphinha can be available for El Clásico," but he assured that "we’ll have to take it slowly. We need to minimise risks, and playing Ferran tomorrow would be too much of a risk."
