Ferran Torres injury news
Ferran Torres will miss Saturday’s game against Girona as a precautionary measure as he is experiencing discomfort from a strain in the hamstring muscles of his left leg sustained while on duty for the Spain national team.
The Valencian forward returned to action with the Spanish national team before the October international break. So far this season, he has made 10 appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist in the blaugrana jeresey.
Final session before the Catalan derby
This Friday morning, Hansi Flick’s squad held their last training session ahead of the upcoming derby clash (kick-off 4.15pm CEST). All available first-team players took part, along with seven reserve-team players: Kochen, Eder Aller, Dro, Jofre, Toni Fernández, Xavi Espart and Juan Hernández.
With that, the Barça players wrapped up preparations for a match coming right after the October international break and a key opportunity for the team to get back on track on the domestic front after the defeat to Sevilla a fortnight ago.
