When club football returns after the current international break for national team fixtures, FC Barcelona have a total of six games ahead of them before the next round of international matches and another hiatus in the club calendar. 

Games at Montjuïc 

The first game back after the international break comes against local La Liga rivals Girona on Saturday 18 October at 4.15pm CEST at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The team coached by Míchel are down the wrong end of the table in the league, but can take confidence from some good results against Barça in recent seasons. 

Also at Montjuïc, on Tuesday 21 October at 6.45pm CEST, Greek side Olympiacos are the visitors on Match Day 3 of the Champions League. 

Decisive Clásico at the Bernabéu  

Straight after comes one of the most important fixtures of the season, the Clásico. On Sunday 26 October at 4.15pm CET, Barça take on Xabi Alonso's Real Madrid team for the first team this season in the Santiago Bernabéu. The duel could be vital with the two teams occupying first and second in the table at the moment in La Liga. 

On Sunday 2 November at 6.30 pm CET. the surprise package of La Liga so far, Elche, are the visitors to Barcelona with former Barça assistant coach Eder Sarabia in charge. On Tuesday 5 November at 9pm CET, Barça travel Club Brugge in the Champions League before their final fixture prior to the next international break, an away trip to Celta Vigo on Sunday 9 November at 9pm CET.
