The first game of the Champions League 2025/26 is getting closer and closer. The FC Barcelona squad trained one last time on Catalan spoil this Tuesday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva, for on Wednesday they'll be taking a flight to Newcastle. Frenkie de Jong, who missed the Valencia game, was again with the squad today, as were serve team players Kochen, Jofre Torrents and Toni Fernández.

On Wednesday the team will be training at the venue of the upcoming fixture, St. James’ Park, and Hansi Flick and one of his players will be giving an official UEFA press conference.

Then on Thursday come the first stage of the journey that will hopefully take us all the way through to Budapest in May. Newcastle United await, kick-off at 9pm CEST.
