The 2025/26 Champions League is taking clearer shape. After learning their opponents in the league phase at the draw held in Monaco on Thursday 28 August, UEFA has now released the fixture list for the first eight matchdays of Europe’s premier competition. This stage will run from 16 September to 28 January, with Hansi Flick’s Barça kicking off away to Newcastle on Thursday 18 September at 9pm CEST at St James’ Park.

To make sure you don’t miss a moment of Barça’s European journey under Flick, here are the dates and kick-off times for all eight league-phase fixtures in the Champions League:

  • Newcastle v Barça. 18 September at 9pm CEST (8pm local).
  • Barça v PSG. 1 October at 9pm CEST.
  • Barça v Olympiacos. 21 October at 6.45pm CEST.
  • Bruges v Barça. 5 November at 9pm CEST.
  • Chelsea v Barça. 25 November at 9pm CEST (8pm local). 
  • Barça v Eintracht Frankfurt. 9 December at 9pm CEST.
  • Slavia Prague v Barça. 21 January at 9pm CEST.
  • Barça v Copenhagen. 28 January at 9pm CEST.
