The start of the 2025/26 Champions League is growing ever closer! Now that every team has been confirmed, the traditional draw for the games is all that remains. The pots are now complete and FC Barcelona already know their potential opponents in this 34th edition of Europe's premier club competition.

It works the same way as last year. There is no group phase, rather a league in which each team plays two opponents from each pot, with teams from the same league excluded at this stage. As such, Hansi Flick and the Barça squad will find out their eight opponents and whether the matches will be played in Barcelona or away this Thursday evening.

To whet the appetite, here are the potential opponents for FC Barcelona in this 2025/26 Champions League:

  • Potential pot 1 opponents: PSG, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Inter, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund.
  • Potential pot 2 opponents: Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta, Juventus, Eintracht, Club Brugge, Benfica.
  • Potential pot 3 opponents: Tottenham, PSV, Ajax, Napoli, Sporting CP, Olympiakos, Slavia Praha, Bodø/Glimt, Olympique de Marseille.
  • Potential pot 4 opponents: Monaco, Galatasaray, Union Saint-Gilloise, Newcastle, Pafos, Kairat Almaty, Copenhagen, Qarabag.
