Bruna Vilamala joins Club América
FC Barcelona and Club América have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Bruna Vilamala. FC Barcelona would like to express their gratitude to Bruna for her commitment and dedication and wishes her all the best for the future.
The Catalan striker leaves Barça at the age of 23 after coming to the Club at the age of 11. Bruna stood out in the youth teams at La Masia before making her first team debut in the 2019/20 season at the age of 17.
Striker with a nose for goal
In 2020/21 the striker scored 12 goals in 15 league appearances in a season in which the blaugranes won the league, Copa de la Reina and the Champions League. In a further three seasons with the first team she took her total to 26 goals in 72 matches for the first team.
In 2024/25 Bruna spent the season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion in England where she made 13 appearances in a campaign hit by injury. She leaves for Club América in Mexico where she will team up with a former blaugrana in the shape of goalkeeper Sandra Paños.
