It's not long now until the league champions are back in action. On 13 July, the team will return to work with medical check-ups, followed the next day by the first double training session, marking the official start of pre-season preparations. The goal is to be in peak condition ready for the game of the title defence.

That game is away to Mallorca, which we now know will be a 7.30pm CEST kick-off on Saturday 16 August at Son Moix. Hansi Flick and his team will be hoping for something similar to the resounding 5-1 victory in the Balearic Islands on their last visit.
