Seven players' contracts come to an end at Barça Atlètic
The players Pau Prim, Percan, Piera, Aziz, Rubén López, Cedric and Pedro Soma end their contracts on 30 June will leave Barça Atlètic. As such, their time in the FC Barcelona youth set up comes to an end.
The Club would like to thanks them for their dedication and professionalism during this time and wishes them all the best for the future on and off the field.
End as a blaugrana
Pau Prim ends his times as a blaugrana after a long spell within the FC Barcelona youth teams. The midfielder started with the U8 squad as a seven year old, moving through all the age categories in the youth system.
This season Pau Prim made 16 appearances, creating two assists.
Loans come to an end
Rubén López, Cedric, Pedro Soma and Aziz return to their parent after spending the season with Barça Atlètic. Rubén López goes back to Deportivo La Coruña after making 35 appearances, scoring twice and providing two assists. Cedric returns to UD Las Palmas after 29 games for Barça Atlètic and eight goals and three assists.
Pedro Soma made 28 appearances in midfield and now goes back to Cornellà whilst Aziz returns to Dream FC in Ghana after two appearances as a blaugrana.
End of contract
Diego Percan's time at FC Barcelona comes to an end after two seasons with Barça Atlètic. In 2023/24 he was a key member of the squad but in 24/25 long term injury restricted him to just two appearances.
Juan Piera also sees his time as a Barça player come to an end after making four appearances.
