It won’t be long now before we see Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona back in action. There’s just one month to go until the first match of the 2025 Blaugrana Tour, Asia Edition, by Philips Ambilight TV that kicks off on July 27 with a match against Vissel Kobe (7pm JST, 12 noon CEST).

On a tour that takes them through Japan and South Korea, Barça return to Asia for the first time since the friendly played in 2023 against the same Vissel Kobe in a tribute to Barça legend Andrés Iniesta. Fittingly, Vissel Kobe will again be Barça’s first opponent this year at the Kobe Stadium. This match will also form part of the Japanese club’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

Previous meetings between the two clubs have been very favourable for Barça. In both earlier encounters (one in 2023 and another in 2019) they won 2–0.

Hansi Flick’s squad will report for medical check-ups on Sunday, July 13, before kicking off training sessions the following week. Two weeks later, Barça will head to Asia to play three matches that are eagerly anticipated by their fans across the continent.
