You have had your say FC Barcelona fans. After a great season for Barça with three trophies won, the blaugrana fans have used the FC Barcelona website and app to vote the Ballon d'Or award win for Aitana Bonmatí as the best moment of the year.

A much deserved award

After a memorable season, topped off by the Ballon d'Or award in 2023, Aitana Bonmatí began the 2024/25 season chomping at the bit to win more trophies. Playing 38 games, Aitana had a big role in the trophies won this season, with her 14 goals and 12 assists showing why she was worthy of the Ballon d'Or. The blaugrana number 14 picked up her second award on 29 October 2024, thanking the Club during her speech. A moment that will go down in the history of Barça, and blaugrana fans have rewarded the season and desire from Aitana, a true one club player.

A superb season

The fans may have decided the second Ballon d'Or was the most notable moment, but let's not forget that this personal award was part of a superb season for Pere Romeu's side. On winning the domestic treble (Liga, Copa de la Reina and Spanish Super Cup), Barça confirmed their domestic dominance once again, with an attractive and joyful playing style. The season also brought other individual awards, such as the Pichichi for Pajor as league top scorer and the Zamora trophy for Cata Coll after conceding fewest goals in the Liga F.
