There is still life in the tie yet! Barça kept alive their play off with Jaén by winning 4-2 in Andalusia thanks to a resolute defensive performance which no means the tie moves to a third and decisive game in the Palau Blaugrana on Wednesday at 8.30pm CEST.

Strong start

After losing the first game against Jaén at home, there was no margin for error for Tino Pérez's team. Barça started like a team that means business and within six minutes they were two up thanks to goals from Martel and then Pito.

That start was to get even better when Pito added another on the quarter of an hour mark after a good move involving Touré and Martel.

Jaén fightback

However, before the break in the first half the home side got themselves right back into the contest. Míchel's back heel made it 3-1 and then Alan Brandi fired home a loose rebound to make  it 3-2 at half time.

In the second half Tino Pérez's team defended diligently and when Martel grabbed his second to make 4-2 it was the moment that Barça needed to seal victory and send the tie into the decider in the Palau on Wednesday.
