Seven Barça players called up for Nations League games
No holidays yet for the blaugranes for although the club season has come to an end there are still international commitments to be met. From 4 to 8 June France, Germany, Portugal and Spain will battle it out for the Nations League title.
Furthermore, there are qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the European U-21 Championships in Bratislava. Finally, the Catalan national side has a friendly against Costa Rica to celebrate the Catalan Federation's 125th birthday.
Nations League in blaugrana
Seven Barça players will be involved in the final stages of the Nations League tournament. Ter Stegen has been called by Germany and Cubarsí, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín, Lamine and Dani Olmo are in Luis de la Fuente's Spain squad who are the defending champions.
World Cup qualifiers
Just a year away, there are also qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. Blaugrana Frenkie de Jong will be in action as the Netherlands take on Finland and then Malta.
U-21 duty and Catalonia
Gerard Martín, Pablo Torre and Fermín López will be with Spain U21 squad for the European Championships between 11 and 28 June in Slovakia. Meanwhile, Gerard Martín, Pau Víctor and Eric Garcia are in the Catalonia squad for the game against Costa Rica at the Estadi Johan Cruyff to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Catalan Football Federation.
