On Thursday it was back to work time for the Liga champions after a well-earned three-day break in the last week of the campaign. Hansi Flick’s squad reported to the Tito Vilanova pitch at the Ciutat Esportiva, where the session was devoted mainly to physical and medical tests ahead of the season’s final fixture. Jules Kounde could also be seen doing gym work as the defender continues his recovery programme.

Training with fitness tests as the work resumes


With Sunday’s visit to San Mamés looming (kick-off 9pm CEST), the team will train again on Friday and Saturday before Sunday’s match brings down the curtain on a historic season that has produced La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
