Tickets on sale this week for UWCL Final in Bilbao
Less than a month to go before the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final at San Mamés, Bilbao, on May 25 against Olympique Lyon, where Barça will be meeting their nemesis, who were victorious both time they met before in the final in 2018/19 and 2021/22.
Tickets for the UWCL Final
Last Saturday 27 April, the club announced the first details for purchase of tickets by club members, supporters clubs and the general public.
UEFA is allocating 9,000 tickets to each club. FC Barcelona is dividing its portion as follows: 7,400 for fans, 250 for animation groups, and 1,350 for the club's commitments (15% of the total pursuant to the club statures - Article 10 on Members Rights,10.5) for between 15 and 25 euros. They go on sale to club members only from Tuesday 30 April at 12pm CEST. Details of the procedure can be found on Infosocis. At the same time on Wednesday, official penyes can also purchase their tickets by means of InfoPenyes, and the general public can order tickets from 12pm CEST on Thursday 2 May via the club website.
Moving Bilbao
Seats in the stadium are going to be hot, hot properties, for 15,000 Barça fans made the trip to Turin for the 2021/22 final and there were 10,000 who went to Eindhoven last year. There is a campaign under way called ‘Movemos Bilbao', and it won't take much to convince thousands of blaugrana clad fans to make their way to the Basque capital for the showpiece event.
It's mostly about the game. But it's not just that. It's also about cheering the team on arrival at their hotel, at the stadium and so many more unforgettable memories that go hand in hand with big occasions like this.
The Barça women's team have raised the bar for the female sport all around the world, and have had an extraordinary impact on people of all ages. And this final, closer to home than any before, is sure to be yet another momentous moment. See you there, Culers!
