17-year-olf wins the vote ahead of Mamardashvili, Camavinga, Baena and Beñat Prados

Another award for Pau Cubarsí. The MVP of the win over Napoli in the Champions League has also collected the LaLiga prize for the U23 player of the the month for March. He won the vote ahead of Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia), Edoardo Camavinga (Real Madrid), Alex Baena (Villarreal) and Beñat Prados (Athletic Club).

Cubarsí has had a perfect month, starting the games at San Mamés (0-0), at Montjuïc against Mallorca (1-0) and at the Metropolitano (0-3), helping the team to complete the month without conceding a single goal and not missing any time other than the last 15 minutes in Bilbao.

91.95% pass completion rate

The numbers speak for themselves. 217 of his 236 passes found their man this month, a 91.95% success rate. Only Kirian Rodríguez (28 years of age) and Mika Mármol (22) of Las Palmas made more passes in March, and their completion rates were not as good.

Cubarsí also made 71.43% of his tackle attempts, recovered 7 balls and was only beaten by one dribble. That's the kind of talent that reassures Barça fans that the team is headed for some very sweet things in the next few years.
