ADISS Hockey Rivas 3-3 Barça: Legendary draw

Barça have drawn 3-3 at the Poliesportiu Cerro del Telégrafo with ADISS Hockey Rivas. It was no easy ride, and it took a late goal to salvage the point, but what an important point it was because it means the team has now gone for an all-time record of 53 league games without defeat.

The draw-nabbing goal in the 39th minute was the work of Marc Grau, who had also scored the goal that gave his side a 2-1 lead, after Sergi Llorca had begun the turnaround just one minute after Bernat Yeste had put the home side ahead after 13 minutes.

Bernat Yeste then scored his second of the day to leave it at 2-2 going in for the break, before Adrián Pos put the home side ahead with a fine solo goal. A huge shock was on the cards. Could Barça miss out on history by losing to the Madrid-based side who are third from bottom in the table?

It was a close call. But with two minutes to go, Marc Grau produced the leveller and the record-breaking team can now prepare for a trip to Galicia on Thursday. Liceo are the opposition, and that 8.30pm CET start is in the Champions League.
