Barça unbeaten away in LaLiga

With seven wins and five draws in 12 games, the blaugranes remain the only unbeaten team in LaLiga away from home

Resilient stuff from Xavi Hernández' side. Three points are always the aim, and although it may be easier with the home fans roaring the team on, the blaugranes have become specialists in remaining unbeaten away from home.

To date, FC Barcelona are the only unbeaten side in LaLiga away from home, with seven wins and five draws in 12 games, with few teams coming close to equalling that record. Real Madrid and Girona are closest, with nine wins, two draws and one defeat and eight wins, three draws and one defeat in 12 games respectively.

The comparison in Europe

Looking across the continent and the major leagues, Barça are up there in terms of record, but first place goes to Inter with an astounding 10 wins and two draws in 12 away games, clearly helping to cement their position as Serie A leaders.

Bayern Leverkusen come next as the German side have nine wins and two draws in 11 matches, which again sees them top the Bundesliga. Barça's record sees them in third place, followed by París Saint-Germain as the only other unbeaten side away from home.

Six to go to equal the record 18 game run

This isn't the first time the blaugrana coach has achieved such good numbers away from home, seasons 21/22 and 22/23 included 19 away games without defeat, featuring 13 wins and 6 draws.

The run is up to 12 consecutive games so far, with six more needed to equal their own record. The teams on the horizon are Athletic Club, Atlético Madrid, Cadiz, Real Madrid, Girona and Almería, all tough games before Sevilla v Barça at the end of May, representing a great opportunity to go on and better last season's record.
