Tenerife 0-2 Barça: Well-rounded win

The blaugranes win three points in the final domestic league game of the year

A blaugrana victory in the final Liga F game of the calendar year, Barça overcoming Tenerife 0-2, with both goals coming in the second half through Graham and Walsh. FC Barcelona Women continue their unblemished winning record in the domestic competition this season.

Goalless at the break

A wonderful setting for a tough game, and the crowd in the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium saw the game get off to an even start. The Canary Islanders weren't threatening Sandra Paños' goal that much, but Barça also weren't able to finish the chances they were creating.

There really wasn't much in the game, although Jonatan Giráldez' side were controlling possession and threatened most. Salma Paralluelo had a good chance in the first 15 minutes, Aitana another midway through the half, and Pina had a cross shot towards the end, but the Tenerife defence and goalkeeper, Adeje, stood firm. 0-0 at the break.

Won in the second half

The first goal came not long after the restart, Patri Gavira's extended arm as Lucy bronze headed back across goal leading to Graham Hansen scoring the resulting penalty (0-1, min. 49). Barça had the bit between the teeth and looked even more threatening from that point onwards.

The second goal came from open play after a good build up saw Aitana slip the ball inside to Keira Walsh who took a touch and curled a right foot shot into the right side of the goal from inside the area. The game continued to be played at a good pace, but further chances for both sides didn't trouble either keeper and ultimately, the blaugranes ran out winners in the final domestic game of the calendar year.
