Barça Legends en route to Kinshasa

Albert Ferrer and his team fly to the Democratic Republic of the Congo for Sunday's game

The Barça Legends are heading back to Africa. Having already played games in Mozambique, Morocco and Zambia, they now have a game against former stars of the Democratic Republic of the Congo's national side, known as the Leopards.

Opened in 1994, the stadium is considered one of the finest in all Africa, and is where DR Congo play their home games, a side currently tanked 65th in the world and that narrowly missed out on a place at the 2022 World Cup in a playoff against eventual semi-finalist Morocco.
