Barça 5-2 Jaén: One win away from the title

A 2-0 lead in the best-of-five final series, with the next two games being played on the road

The Barça futsal need to win one game to be crowed league champions, and they have three chances to do it. They are off to Jaen for games three and four, on Friday and Sunday (the latter only if required) and even in the case of losing those two, would still have a third chance back in their home pavilion.

Jesús Velasco's side are in that powerful position thanks to a fine display on Monday night, where goals from Pito, Matheus, Ferrao, Dyego and Sergio González delivered a big win.

It was full steam ahead from the off, with three first half goals already setting them on fine course for a win, with Ferrao's goal seconds before the break a huge psychological blow for the opposition

Barça then took advantage of Hem being sent off to put the game utterly to bed thanks to a deft Dyego conversion, and when Sergio González tapped into an empty net, the rout was complete.

Jaen did nick a couple of late consolation goals, but by that stage they were already thoroughly defeated.
