Barça TV+ premieres ‘Alexia, Labor Omnia Vincit’

Docuseries available on Amazon Prime Video and produced in association with Barça Studios out now on Barça TV+ and throughout Spain

‘Alexia, Labor Omnia Vincit’ is an Amazon Prime Video production in association with Barça Studios, and takes a fly-on the-wall look at the best women's footballer in the world. It looks at the growth of Alexia Putellas from a young girl into a social and sporting figurehead.

Now, in the build-up to the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final, where fans will be able to enjoy her football once again, FC Barcelona's official video platform, Barça TV+, is launching this documentary exclusively in Spain in both Spanish and Catalan.

Three episodes that each last between 40 and 50 minutes tell us more about the player's life from childhood through to becoming one of the best women's footballers in the world, enjoying huge success both for club and country. It also explores some of the hardships she, like all athletes, has had to face, including the injury that meant she missed the European Championship last summer.

Putellas, the first ever double Ballon d'Or winner, narrates the episodes herself, telling us what challenges she had to overcome, her ambitions and dreams, and also some of the key moments of her career, such as the two Champions League games played at Spotify Camp Nou last season and which both set world record attendances for women's football games.

Putellas has been part of unprecedented success at Barça, winning the treble and last season getting through a whole league season without dropping a single point. and also amassing more than 50 consecutive wins in the domestic championship. And this coming Saturday 3 June, there could be further success on the way as the team looks to win the UWCL for the second time.
