Barça Atlètic to meet Real Madrid Castilla in play-off semifinal
First leg at Estadi Johan Cruyff next week, and tie to be decided in second leg in Madrid
Barça Atlètic got their homework done against Logroñés to earn a berth in the play-offs for promotion to the second division. It means they will play the third ranked team in Group 1, which is none other than the Real Madrid reserves.
The first of two 'MiniClásicos' will be next week at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, and the return will be a week later at the Alfredo di Stéfano, Valdebebas, both kick-offs yet to be announced. If Barça Atlètic can win the two-legged tie, they will go head to head with Eldense and Celta B in the battle for promotion.
On the other side of the draw, Real Sociedad B and Alcorcón meet in one playoff, and Deprotivo de La Coruña face Castellón in the other.
