Massachussets and La Coruña get official penyes

The FC Barcelona board of directors has admitted two new penyes to the family. Penya Mass Blaugrana of Everett and Penya Blaugrana de la Ciudad de A Coruña are the clubs that raise the total number of supporters clubs to 1,266.

First in Massachusetts

The Penya Mass Blaugrana of Everett is the first in the US state of Massachusetts. As well as watching games in its clubhouse, the group also organises all kinds of sports, leisure and charity events in its local community. The Everett supporters were especially active on Barça¡s US Tour last summer, attending the game with the NY Red Bulls along with fellow penyes from New York, New Jersey and Washington. Expansion in the United States thus continues, and there are now 15 different penyes in the country.

26 in Galicia

The Penya Blaugrana de la Ciudad de A Coruña takes the number of official penyes in the region of Galicia to 26. But this is the first in the city of La Coruña, and the first new admission since 2017. The club already has over 100 members.
