FC Barcelona 93–72 Baxi Manresa: Back to winning
The Barça basketball team have picked up an important win at the Palau Blaugrana against Baxi Manresa, and by an incontestable 21 points in a game that was already as good as decided at the interval.
The result leaves Barça second in the league, just one win behind Real Madrid.
Festival in offence
Barça needed just a minute to go 7-0, and that was tonic for things to come, with the first period ending with a +14 already having been amassed on a a day that everything seemed to be going right. And there was no sign of the blaugrana letting off in the second period, with Mirotic and Thomas Satoransky totally plugged in and the half-time lead of +27 suggesting their was no way back for Manresa.
Utter control
Jasikevicius used the second half to rest some of his regulars, and yet even with less experienced names on court, the difference kept widening.
Jokubaitis was the liveliest player of the second half with his 18 points. The difference built up to +30 and although Manresa did manage to reduce the deficit late in the game, it was meaningless by that stage.
