Just before starting training on Friday, Xavi Hernández and his players gathered for a group photo in commemoration of Jordi Alba's 450th game for FC Barcelona, with the full-back at the centre of the shot holding a shirt that was especially printed for the occasion.
The player hit the historical milestone in Thursday's Europa League game with Manchester United. It pulls him level with Carles Rexach's all-time tally, now ninth in the club ranking that is led by Leo Messi (778 appearances), followed by current manager Xavi (767) and with Sergio Busquets third (707).
