Ángel Alarcón makes first team debut

The 18 year old played his first minutes with the first team and becomes 'Made in la Masia' number 198

A very special day for Ángel Alarcón as the young blaugrana made his first team debut on Thursday in the Copa del Rey game against Ceuta. The 18 year old becomes 'Made in la Masia' player number 198.

The young midfielder wore the number 38 shirt and came in for Raphinha in the 80th minute. Alarcón was on the field when Lewandowksi scored the blaugranes' fifth goal and had a chance himself, almost getting on the end of Jordi Alba's cross.

Fifth season as a blaugrana

Born in Castelldefels on 15 May 2004, Alarcón came to FC Barcelona at the age of 14 and is now in his fifth season as a blaugrana. The midfielder came up in the same age group as Gavi and played alongside his fellow teenager in the youth teams.

Alarcón made his debut for Barça Atlètic in March 2021 in a 1-0 win over Espanyol. This season he has played 21 games for the U19 side, scoring nine goals.
