Engen extends contract to 2025

The Norwegian midfielder from Barça Women commits to another two seasons at the signing with president Joan Laporta

Ingrid Engen has extended her contract with FC Barcelona until 30 June 2025. The Norwegian midfielder's previous contract was up at the end of the season and she signed her extension in the president of president Joan Laporta and board member Xavier Puig in the president's office at Spotify Camp Nou. 

The 24 year old, despite her relative youth, is an experienced campaigner at international level, joining Barça in the summer of 2021 after two seasons with Wolfsburg. After a settling in period, Engen has become a key part of Jonatan Giráldez's squad making 55 appereances and scoring six goal in her balugrana career so far.

"I am really happy to be staying here for another two years. It's still my dream to play for this club and since the moment I arrived I have felt at home." 

"Personally I feel good as a player and I am developing every day. I feel good out on the field and this season I have shown what I can do, I have helped the team and I hope to do that more."
