Barça Atlètic centre back comes on for the final minutes of the win at Osasuna

Tuesday was a night of good news in Pamplona, as 10-man-Barça battle from behind to defeat Osasuna and consolidate their new place at the top of the Liga table. And the game also brought yet another first team debut. Chadi Riad, the left-sided centre back for Barça Atlètic, came on for his first senior minutes in the final minutes of the game.

The Morocco U20 international came on in the 89th minute and including injury time got to feature in five minutes of the game. Pedri had just made it 2-1 and his mission was to help keep things tight at the back and protect the lead.

Chadi Riad is a regular starter for the reserve team coached by Rafa Márquez, missing just one game so far this season. and even scoring a goal against Castellón. Riad has also been appearing in the UEFA Youth League, and scored one of the goals in the 6-1 rout of Inter Milan.

Third call-up

He was previously named in the squads to play Celta at Spotify Camp Nou and against Almeria last week. He didn't get on for wither of those matches, but it was third time lucky for him in Pamplona.
