Monday recovery session

The team return to the Ciutat Esportiva to start preparations for Thursday's game with Villarreal

Fresh back from the Santiago Bernabéu and a disappointing setback against Real Madrid in El Clásico, the FC Barcelona returned to work on Monday morning to start working on the next challenge, a league match at home to Villarreal on Thursday at 9pm CEST.

The Tito Vilanova field was the venue at the Ciutact Esportiva Joan Gamper, where the first team regulars were joined by Fabio, Aranda, Emre and Rosanas of Barça Atlètic. Unlike recent days in Barcelona, the sun was hiding behind the clouds, making for ideal conditions for football.

The primary focus of the session was recovery for the players who had faced Real Madrid the day before, but with the fixtures coming think and fast this month, and with a game against Athletic Club also on the horizon, Xavi will undoubtedly have been keen to have a look at some of the things that went wrong on Sunday afternoon and make sure they don't happen again.
