Thrilling presentation for the 2022/23 basketball kit

Thursday saw the Barça Store play host to an event to present the basketball kit for the 2022/23 season. Nikola Mirotic, Cory Higgins and Sergi Martínez were there to show off the new Barça kit for this season.

Furthermore, every fan that attended the event was able to get autographs from the three Barça players. Director responsible for basketball, Josep Cubells, was also present at the event. "This is first time we present the basketball shirt. We hope to continue to increase sales on last season, while also becoming closer to members and fans".

New jersey inspired by the Barcelona Olympics

The first team jersey design evokes the brightness that pervaded the city of Barcelona with the creation of new spaces and a link to the sea to coincide with the 1992 Olympic Games held 30 years ago.

All these aspects are represented through the different coloured flashes on the jersey's stripes. The maroon stripes alternate with two blue tones - navy blue and a lighter blue - precisely to highlight the concept. The navy blue also features on the collar, sleeves, shorts and socks.
