First training session in Dallas

The team practiced at Washburne Stadium a few hours after landing in Texas

DALLAS, Texas — FC Barcelona completed its first training session in Dallas on Sunday evening just a few hours after arriving there from Las Vegas. Throngs of Barça supporters cheered the players as they arrived at the team hotel.

Sunday's workout was a post-match recovery session in which all players participated. The session was held at Washburne Stadium, a field that the team had already trained on during their stay in the United States in 2011. The last visit to Dallas, however, came in 2018, when they faced AS Roma.

A special visitor at Sunday's training session

The former Barça player José Antonio Martínez was on hand Sunday at Washburne Stadium. Martínez, who played for Barça B from 2016 to 2018 and helped the team earn promotion to the Spanish Second Division, currently plays for FC Dallas. Before Sunday's workout, Martínez had a chance to chat with some of the players and Blaugrana staff members.
