Jenni Hermoso says goodbye

Barça's all time leading scorer brings her second spell as a blaugrana to an end after having won all there is to win

In a post on Jenni Hermoso's social media, the striker said goodbye to Barça: "Everything comes and sometimes ends. I am very proud of having given my all in the shirt." The 32 year old striker thus ends her second spell as a blaugrana after playing for the Club between 2014 and 2017 before rejoining in 2019. Hermoso's contract ends on 30 June and her next stop will be in Mexican football after an announcement by Club Pachuca.

In six and a half seasons as a blaugrana, Jenni Hermoso became the Club's all time leading goalscorer with 181 goals in 224 official appearances. Her record allowed her to be the league's top scorer with Barça in 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2021. Hermoso was also top scorer in the 2020/21 Women's Champions League.

On a collective level, Hermoso has won all there is to win with Barça: a Champions League, five league titles, fives Copas de la Reina, two Spanish Super Cups and four Copes Catalunya.
