Luis Enrique names Ansu Fati in Spain squad

Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Gavi and Ferran Torres are also in the side for UEFA Nations League fixtures in June

Luis Enrique has picked no fewer than six FC Barcelona players in his latest Spain squad, namely Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Gavi, Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati. The latter is biggest news in his selection for a series of four games in the UEFA Nations League.

The players are due to report for national duty on Monday 30 May to begin preparations for the following matches:

Spain v Portugal (June 2 in Seville)
Czech Republic v Spain (June 5 in Prague)
Switzerland v Spain (June 9 in Geneva)
Spain v Czech Republic (June 12 in Malaga)

Riqui and Mingueza for Catalonia

Meanwhile, Riqui Puig and Òscar Mingueza have a game on Wednesday 25 May for the Catalan national team against Jamaica at the Montilivi, Girona. That is why neither player has travelled to Australia for the friendly in Sydney, which can be watched live this coming Wednesday on Barça TV+.
