FC Barcelona 5-0 Atlético Sanluqueño: Convincing victory

After a setback the week before, the reserves keep their promotion hopes alive with a five-star performance

fter the hurt of defeat to Atlètico Baleares, Barça B bounced straight back with a quality performance on Saturday, winning 5-0 with two goals from a stellar Ferran Jutglà in the first half and three more from Fabio Blanco, Aranda and Peque Polo in the second to draw ever closer to the promotion play-off zone, now just two points adrift of Alcoyano.

Ferran Jutglà on fire

Beneath pounding rain, the reserves gradually got a hold on the game  and Ferran Jutglà showed why he’s the top scorer in the division with a cheeky shot from an angle that bounded in off both the post and the visiting keeper.

He then headed in an Aranda cross to give his side a two-goal lead at the break.

The blaugrana were much the superior team in the second half too, and every time the visitors tried to come forward, they were being caught on the counter in clinical fashion. Fabio Blanco put even more breathing space between the teams and with Barça B now utterly in command Aranda struck in another from outside the area and Peque Polo finally converted following a series of rebounds to make it five.
