Gerard Piqué out with a groin injury

The Barça centre back was replaced after 22 minutes of the game against Eintracht and his recovery will dictate his return

Tests carried out on Friday have confirmed that the first team player Gerard Piqué has a tendinopathy of the adductor longus muscle in his left thigh. The groin injury means the player is out and his recovery will dictate his return.

The centre back was replaced by Clément Lenglet after 22 minutes of the Europa League quarter final first leg against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, a game that ended in a 1-1 draw with the second leg to come next week at Camp Nou.
