Aubameyang does it again!

Gabonese striker continues his sublime form in front of goal, and keeps alive his wonderful habit of scoring goals against Real Madrid

FC Barcelona have beaten Real Madrid 4-0 on yet another historic night at the Santiago Bernabéu. And although every member of the team deserves credit for such an immaculate display of footballing prowess, one name stands head and shoulders above the rest: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabonese striker is on spectacular form right now, and his two goals and one assist make him the first player in the 21st century to have a direct hand in three goals in his first ever Clásico.

Aubameyang has nine goals this season, an especially impressive number when we note that he’s only been playing since January ... eleven games in total!

More goals against Real Madrid

But although this was his first Clásico, Aubameyang is no stranger to the Santiago Bernabéu. He went there three times as a Borussia Dortmund player and scored every time!

Aubameyang has now scored in five consecutive games against Real Madrid, seven in total, a record in the 21st century when counting games in LaLiga and the Champions League.
