Public presentation of in depth investigation and action taken

On Tuesday 1 February the results of the in depth investigation brought about as a consequence of Financial Due Diligence and with the object of detecting possible irregularities in the management of the Club during the previous presidential mandate will be presented publicly. As such, the action taken by the Club will also been announced included in the report made to the local Barcelona Prosecutor's Office as a results of the facts that have come to light from the conclusions reached by the in depth investigation. The presentation will take place at the Auditoria 1899 from 11am CET and will be carried out by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

Approval for the new regulations for the Supporters' Clubs

The Board of Directors have approved a new Supporters' Club Code that adapts regulations to the current climate and in a way that brings the Club and the supporters' clubs together. This new type of relationship attempts to eliminate intermediaries and unnecessary obstacles so that from now on communication between the Club and the supporters' clubs is more direct.

The new regulatory text brings together and brings up to date the requisites to become an FC Barcelona Supporters' Club and member, updating criteria, establishing minimums so that Barça fans' associations can be recognised and as such enjoy all the advantages that the Club can bring to them such as the sale of tickets for fixture for all Barça team or support from FC Barcelona for any events or activities the supporters' clubs may wish to organise.

The new regulations for supporters' clubs also bring together the new organisation of the supporters' club movement, which as its main aim attempts to bring the clubs and FC Barcelona closer together. For that reason, in the new regulations the Supporters' Club Department is designated as the Club's point of contact to which the supporters' clubs can address their queries and requests.

In other business, the Club in the text of the new regulations recognises the 'Agrupacions Territorials' and leaves it up to the supporters' clubs themselves to set the criteria for affiliation to the said groups. These 'Agrupacions Territorials' can choose a representative to form part the Consultative Council of Supporters' Clubs for a maximum period of eight years, consecutive or alternate. The Consultative Council will have as it main function the fomenting of the relationship between Supporters' Clubs and collaboration with the Club in the initiation of projects that aim to improve and representation and the public profile of FC Barcelona around the world.
