Ferran Torres is the new Barça number 19. Furthermore, the club has received confirmation of the player's registration and he is available for Wednesday's game against Real Madrid.

The winger who has arrived in the winter transfer window takes over the shirt from Sergio Agüero who wore it earlier this season before his recent unfortunate retirement due to health issues. 

Pizzi, Kluivert and Messi, other Barça number 19 wearers

Argentine Agüero is not the only goalscorer to have worn the number 19. Juan Antonio Pizzi (1996-98), Patrick Kluivert (1998-99) and Leo Messi (January 2006 until summer 2008) have also proudly had the number on their backs. Furthermore, Martin Braithwaite, the current number 12, also wore the number when he first arrived at Camp Nou. 

Other wearers inlcude Dani (1999-03), Maxwell (2009-12), Sandro (2015-16) and Lucas Digne (2016-18) amongst others.
