Medical updates for Araujo and Frenkie de Jong

The Uruguayan central defender and the Dutch midfielder both had to be substituted during the match against Linares

First-team player Ronald Araujo has fractured the second and third metacarpal bones in his right hand. Doctor Xavier Mir will perform surgery tomorrow under the supervision of the Club's medical services. An update will be provided after the operation.

First-team player Frenkie De Jong has strained the soleus muscle in his left calf. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will be monitored.

Injuries against Linares

The Uruguayan central defender started the match against Linares, playing the entire first-half before being replaced by Gerard Piqué at the break. He has featured in 20 games this season, scoring two goals.

The Dutch midfielder came on at the break to replace Riqui Puig, but had to substituted himself by Álvaro Sanz on the 74th minute, having played 29 minutes. He has featured in 22 games this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
