Members of Barça B and Barça Escola were the latest club representatives to visit the Espai Barça exhibition at the Camp Nou to lean about the project to fund the new stadium that is due to be voted on at an online referendum on December 19.

Barça B coach Sergi Barjuan was joined by captains Arnau Comas, Arnau Tenas, Guillem Jaime and Álvaro Sanz as well as the president of Barça B, Jordi Casals, where the director of Real Estate and Espai Barça, Ramon Ramírez, was there to answer their questions.

“It’s a magnificent exhibition” said Barça B goalkeeper Arnau Tenas. “It is a spectacular future project. I’d stress the capacity of the new Camp Nou and what iyt means to re-structure it. These are many years of history, and we are going into this project with new hopes.”

They were joined by youngsters from Barça Escola and their relatives, some fifty people in total, who were informed that Espai Barça will primarily be funded by the increased revenue once it is operational.

They were told how the project is respectful of the history of the Camp Nou but also of the need to take the club and its stadium into the 21st century, becoming a benchmark not only for architecture but also for sustainability. The audiovisual simulation also presents the future Palau Blaugrana. The many new features of the Camp Nou will include a new third tier and a double VIP, while will all help to generate added revenue.
