Gavi released from hospital

The midfielder received a blow to the head form the ball during the Barça v Betis game and was left dazed and dizzy

During the Barça v Betis fixture on Saturday at Camp Nou, midfielder Gavi was taken to hospital following protocol after being dazed during the game by a blow to the head. Tests have been carried out satisfactorily and the player has been released from hospital. 

The Barça player was hit hard on the head by the ball just after the half hour mark in the game and had to be substituted. 

 

Gavi has become an important figure this season at Barça since making his first team debut in the 2-1 win over Getafe at Camp Nou on 29 August. Since then he has made 17 appearances for the first team, 12 in the league and five in the Champions League. 

When he made his debut he was just 17 years and 24 days old, the fourth youngest player to represent the club in its history after Vicenç Martínez, Ansu Fati and Bojan Krkic.
