Rosenborg 0-3 Barça: Big win in final preseason test

FC Barcelona have won 3-0 in Trondheim, Norway as goals from Aitana, Graham Hansen and Claudia Pina sealed victory in a dominant display against Rosenborg BK Kvinner.

Mariona had already had one goal discounted for offside when the early pressure finally paid off with an Aitana sturn and strike from the dge of the area.

The newly crowned best player in Europe, Alexia had the best of the chances as the Catalans continued to outplay their hosts, and with eight minutes we were treated to one of the biggest moments of the preseason as new signing Rolfö came on for her debut in place of goalscorer Aitana.

The second goal came moments later and it was a true work of art. Caroline Graham Hansen converted in spectacular fashion after connecting with a corner – and there was still time for Claudia Pina to volley in a third off an assist from debutante Rolfö.

So ends a preseason in which the women’s team have amassed five wins and just one defeat, against Olympique Lyon in the USA.

The Liga Iberdrola gets going next Saturday with a 12.00pm CEST kick-off against Granadilla at the Estadi Johan Cruyff
