Bayern Munich, Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Youth League 2021/22

Barça learn which teams they'll be meeting in the group stage following today's draw in Istanbul

Following the UEFA Champions League draw in Istanbul, FC Barcelona also knows which teams it will be facing in the UEFA Youth League, as the opponents are exactly the same, namely Bayern Munich, Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv.

As usual, the competition is divided into two sections. There is a 32-team Champions League Path, which mirrors the senior competition, and there is a 32-team Domestic Champions Path for the highest ranked youth champions that aren’t already represented in the Youth League.

The winners of the Champions League Path groups qualify directly for the round of 16 and the runners-up go into the playoffs where they’ll meet the qualified teams from the other path.

The knockout stage games are all played over a single leg, leading up to the Final Four at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon.
