On 19 August 2020 the Dutch coach took over at Barça so we take a look at the stats from the last 12 months

A year ago to the day Ronald Koeman became FC Barcelona coach. On 19 August 2020 the man who was the hero of Wembley in 1992 as a player returned to the Club as first team boss. A year on we look at the stats from his first 12 months in charge. 

- 55 matches

The man who is the fifth Dutch coach in Barça history has led the team in 55 matches: 39 in La Liga, eight in the Champions League, six in the Copa del Rey and two in the Spanish Super Cup. 

- 35 wins

Ronald Koeman has recorded 35 wins in his 12 months in charge with 11 defeats and nine draw completing his record. 

- A trophy, the Copa del Rey

In Seville in the La Cartuja stadium Ronald Koeman led his team to his first success as blaugrana boss to record his second win as coach in the competition following on from his 2008 victory with Valencia. 

- Pedri the most used player

Pedri has been Ronald Koeman's go to man in the XI with a total of 53 appearances, closely followed by De Jong and Griezmann on 52.

Pedri also started more games than anyone else with 49 appearances in the starting XI, two more than Jordi Alba and three more than Antoine Griezmann.

Koeman has also recorded runs of nine games without defeat on two occasions; between December 2020 and January 2021 there were six win and three draws and between February and March 2021 seven wins and two draws.
