Emerson Royal is in Barcelona

Emerson Royal is in Barcelona! The Brazilian full-back, whose transfer was made official on June 2, and who has been taking a break after competing for his country at the Copa America, arrived at El Prat Airport this Saturday, from where he was transferred directly to the Ciutat Esportiva.

Once he has had time to take in his new surroundings, he will be officially presented as a Barça player at 7.00pm CEST on Monday at the Camp Nou.

It was on 31 January 2019 that FC Barcelona reached a three-way agreement with  Atlético Mineiro and Real Betis Balompié, with the Brazilian playing on loan to the latter for two seasons.

Last season, he was the most used player by Manuel Pellegrini (3,186 minutes in La Liga), also scoring five goals for Betis and giving ten assists.

Kun Agüero continues work at Ciutat Esportiva

The Argentine striker has continued working alone in Barcelona, doing physio and ball exercises both in the gym and on the Tito Vilanova training pitch.
