Pedri in Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament

The 18-year-old Canary Islander was outstanding for Spain and is the team's only inclusion in the XI announced on Tuesday

Praise has been raining relentlessly down on Pedri González for his amazing performances at Euro 2020. Not only was the 18-year-old named young player of the tournament, but he has also been included in UEFA’s Team of the Tournament, the only member of the Spain squad to do so.

Pedri played all six of Spain’s games in the competition, only missing the final minute of the game with Switzerland.

He was Barça’s most used player last season, but the workload doesn’t seem to be getting to him, because the 76.1 km he covered was the most in the tournament behind just Jorginho and Philipps, who played one more game than him.
