The date of Barça’s first Liga 2021/22 fixture has been announced. It will be at the Camp Nou on Sunday 15 August at 8.00pm CEST, against Real Sociedad.

That means there’s just over a month to wait before Ronald Koeman and his team play their first official game of the new season, and it promises to be a cracker against the Basques. Barça won this fixture 2-1 last season, with goals from Jordi Alba and Frenkie de Jong.
