Lenglet, Griezmann and Dembélé in France Euro 2020 squad

The three Barça players are on Didier Deschamps' list for the international tournament to be played this summer

The 2020 European Championships are almost upon us. Postponed for a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament will feature Clément Lenglet, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembélé after the four Barça players were named in France's squad by national team coach Didier Deschamps. 

The rest of the countries involved in the competition will be announced over the coming days and more Barça representation is all but guaranteed. One player who will not be taking part in Euro 2020 is Marc ter Stegen after the German announced on Monday via his social media platforms that he will be in the Germany squad as he is undergo a therapeutic procedure on his right knee. 

Copa América as well this summer

The Copa América, also postponed from last year, will also be played next month and Barça are sure to be represented in South America's international tournament. The squads will be announced in the coming weeks and the CONMEBOL countries also have 2022 World Cup qualifiers to contend with for which Leo Messi has already been called up for Argentina.
