Barça futsal squad arrive in Croatia

Andreu Plaza's team are now in Zadar, the venue for the final phase of the Champions League

Barça are in Zadar, Croatia for the Final Eight of this season's Champions League. The squad took off at 11.00am local time for the Balkans where Andreu Plaza's squad will be looking to add another European title to their list of honours. 

The squad 

The Barça coach has called up all his available players for the trip including Barça B goalkeepers Óscar and Àlex Lluch and also the Argentine Rufino. A total of 16 players for a 14 man squad for each game. Missing due to injury are Lozano and Feixas but back after missing the most match against O Parrulo are Coelho, Adolfo and Ferrao. 

The programme 

After arriving in Croatia there will be an official UEFA press conference with coach Andreu Plaza followed by a training session in the Kresimir Cosic Arena. 


Andreu Plaza sees no favourites amongst the eight teams

The Barça coach has warned of the difficulty of the Final Eight: "We have worked hard to get here in the best possible shape and be ready to fight for the title. It is a very open Final Eight without any clear favourites."
